La principale motivazione che mi porta a modificare le radio per KAP, è la necessità di avere un TX adattato alle mie esigenze:
- Dimensione ridotta e solidità
- Facile da azionare con una sola mano e non in modo accidentale
- Possibilità di espansioni con modulo video
Queste tre semplici necessità richiedono molti anni di esperienza per trovare una soluzione che le comprenda tutte ed in eguale modo efficaci, vediamole nello specifico:

Dimensione ridotta - Reduced dimension
Il radiocomando originale è stato completamente smontato e ne viene utilizzato solo la parte circuitale, tutti i comandi a stick sono stati sostituiti con adeguati sistemi di azionamento.
The original remote control has been completely taken apart and it will be used only the circuit part, all the control to sticks will been replaced with adapted control systems.

Il nuovo contenitore del radiocomando è realizzato dalla giunzione di due scatole per circuiti elettronici, la dimensione è stata scelta in funzione della dimensione del circuito e dalla possibilità di essere contenuta in una mano, la forma risultante è leggermente allungata. Tutti i comandi sono a filo con la superficie della scatola e non vi è la possibilità che possano essere azionati dall'urto con il corpo mentre si cammina, l'antenna è di tipo flessibile con innesto rapido per una facile rimozione.
The new remote control box is realized from the splice of two boxes for electronic circuits, the dimension has been choice in function of the dimension of the circuit and from the possibility to be contained in one hand, the box shape is lengthened. All the commandos are on the surface of the box and not there is the possibility that they can be set in action from the collision with the body while I'm walking, the antenna is of flexible type fitted with a special connector for one easy removal.

Rotazione PAN e TILT
Le due rotazioni PAN e TILT sono realizzate per mezzo di potenziometri che montano una piccola rotella che esce di pochi millimetri dalla superficie della scatola, in questo modo posso ruotare i potenziometri con un dito ed evitare il problema del movimento accidentale che si ha con i normali stick.
The two rotations PAN and TILT are realized by means of pots, that pot mount one small wheel on that axle, that wheel exits some millimetres from the surface of the box, in this way I can turn the pot with one finger and avoid the problem of the accidental movement that is had with the normal stick.
Potenziometri PAN e TILT
Lo scatto e l'accensione del sistema video avviene per mezzo di pulsanti posti sotto la superficie degli adesivi che ricoprono la scatola, in questo modo si evita pressioni accidentali e possibilità che parti sporgenti si aggancino a qualunque cosa.
Il movimento HoVer è realizzato a mezzo di deviatore a due posizioni. Tutte le regolazioni dei trim sono esterne.
The release shutter and the switch for the system video happen for means of push-buttons fixed under the surface of the adhesive that cover the box, in this way avoid accidental pressures and possibilities that it hang any thing. The HoVer movement is realized to means of two positions shunted . All the regulations of the trim are external.
